MEET OUR PASTORS

John & Lynette Davidson

John and Lynette came on as lead pastors of Evangel Temple in January of 2022. The Lord gave them a heart/vision to see the church cultivate deep relationships and provide a place of belonging and healing to those in the community. They are also passionate about investing, nurturing and equipping the Next Generation to fulfill their God-given purpose.

John believes God’s word has the power to change us, because of this he loves preaching in a way that helps people understand the Bible clearly and put it into practice in their everyday lives.

Lynette enjoys caring for people by intentionally meeting them where they’re at, connecting them to growing opportunities, and creating systems that help the local church operate more effectively.

They attended Evangel University and graduated with degrees in Biblical Studies and Business, and John received his PhD from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. They have served together in ministry for 25 years as local church pastors, trainers and educators of future ministers through college and seminary education, and John served as the facilitator of church planting for the Assemblies of God.
